Strategic Collaboration: Pintu and DANA Unite to Increase Crypto Literacy in Indonesia
In an effort to accelerate the adoption of digital assets in Indonesia, the crypto platform Pintu has formed a strategic partnership with leading fintech company, DANA.
This collaboration aims to enhance public understanding of crypto and blockchain technology through a comprehensive educational program.
Addressing the Challenge of Low Crypto Literacy
Although interest in crypto assets in Indonesia is showing a positive trend, public literacy levels remain relatively low.
According to information quoted from Beincrypto, a survey conducted by Consensys and YouGov revealed that about 63% of respondents in Indonesia struggle to understand crypto technology, and only 31% admitted to having heard of and understood the basic concepts of crypto.
In response to this situation, Pintu and DANA have taken the initiative to conduct educational and literacy programs on crypto, held at DANA’s office.
Pintu’s Chief Marketing Officer, Timothius Martin, expressed his appreciation to DANA for providing a space to share insights on crypto and blockchain, which have now become topics of wide public interest.
DANA’s Support in Realizing a Digital Financial Ecosystem
DANA Indonesia’s Director of Communications, Olavina Harahap, welcomed this collaboration as a concrete step in enhancing digital financial literacy among Indonesians.
According to her, discussions and education about crypto assets are fascinating topics that can increase public knowledge and understanding of future financial technologies.
Growth of Crypto Users in Indonesia
Data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) shows that the number of crypto asset consumers in Indonesia continues to rise.
As of February 2025, a total of 13.31 million people have become crypto users, up from 12.92 million the previous month.
This growth reflects the strong public interest in digital assets, despite the ongoing challenges in literacy.
Building an Inclusive Digital Financial Future
The collaboration between Pintu and DANA is expected to serve as a catalyst in building an inclusive and sustainable digital financial ecosystem in Indonesia.
By increasing public literacy and understanding of crypto assets and blockchain technology, it is hoped that crypto adoption in Indonesia can grow significantly and bring broad economic benefits to society.
