Beware! SMS Phishing Scam Targets Binance Users
Binance users are now facing a new threat in the form of phishing SMS messages disguised as official notifications from the platform.
These messages often warn users about suspicious activity on their accounts, such as the addition of a two-factor authentication device or an unknown API pair.
In the message, recipients are instructed to contact a specific phone number, which is actually controlled by the scammer.

Through this method, the fake messages appear to come from Binance’s official number and even show up in the same message thread as legitimate notifications.

Security experts suspect that this phishing campaign is exploiting user data that was previously leaked and sold on the dark web.
According to information from BeInCrypto, in March 2025, it was reported that more than 230,000 user records from Binance and Gemini were illegally traded, including names, emails, and phone numbers.
